2·11 days agoObtuse angle. If you’re going up, then suddenly going down, it can be more than 90 degrees. The starkest example would be a change from going up vertically to going down vertically, which would be a drop of 180 degrees. And would probably kill you.

2·1 month agoIn the US, we have anesthesiologists who are medical school doctors who specialize in anesthesiology. We also have nurse anesthetists who are registered nurses with additional training in anesthesia, and physicians assistants who have a masters degree level of medical school plus specialty training in anesthesia. Physicians assistant certification hasn’t caught on outside of the US.
And they’ve all been cannonized by the pope. It’s a holy moley.

3·1 month agoI worked in water treatment during an internship and learned about air gapping. You make it so that data can go out for monitoring, but nothing can come in. You need physical access to make changes. Because if someone can control it remotely, that means anyone can control it remotely.
1·1 month agoI would liken it more to the GMO label than electricity. Sure, most foods today are made with some type of GMO ingredient and so requiring food manufacturers to disclose that means that most foods carry the scarlet letter of GMO. Most people don’t care and don’t look for it. For the people who do care, they’re able to find a different product with no GMO ingredients. It will be like the organic label for AI-free products.
