I managed to do some cloud gaming on a 1Gb ram device, so I’d say go with whatever suits you best. Unless you really, REALLY need to browse lemmy on a 4k res. Then 16Gb ram is the bare minimum.

I’m typing this on a minimal installation, and the ram usage is exactly at 1.4Gb. There’s only brave + a lousy terminal running on the background. (Browser ram usage should be around the 1.2Gb mark btw.)
