grok: sounds like you got woke in your blood, you should do meth about it

GreenKnight23@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Elon Musk Promises Grok in Tesla Vehicles By Next Week… as the New Grok 4 Blames “Anti-White Hate” on “Jews”English9·10 hours agohonestly, I think we’re all in for a rude awakening. there’s varying shades of prejudice in the world and we’re about to find out who’s on which side of the “Nazi” line.
some are obvious, others not so much. I also think there’s going to be some more surprises along the way outside of Jewish fascists or self-proclaimed black Nazis.
there was nuance to WW2 that we lost in translation of history because it wasn’t part of the narrative the script writers wanted to tell.
All I can hope for is a bloodless transition back to sanity and back to a constitutional republic with a solidification of rights to all citizens including basic human rights as documented by the UN.
or the folks who still defend their stance on “Democrats support genocide” as an excuse for not voting or voting third party.
like yeah, we get it. they aren’t much better in that regard, but…maybe we wouldn’t have needless tariff wars, or verbal attacks on our closest allies, or ICE kidnapping American citizens, or American citizens being shipped to prisons in other countries, or concentration camps in America, or…had we voted for Harris and let Trump win(don’t even get me started on that bullshit).
same opinion is one thing, but when two different people give verbatim the same bullet points it’s a bit obvious.
couldn’t care less for the downvotes tbh, if anything I’ll wear them as a badge of honor.
my problem is getting 30 downvotes in five minutes in a sub that has maybe five active users at any given hour of the day.
doubt. any community with 1000 active users is prime for manipulation.
been that way since I joined.
it’s crazy how I can call someone out in a low traffic community and end up with 30 downvotes in five minutes.
it’s also funny how when you call different people out on similar topics you get the same word-for-word response back from weeks or months ago.
I’m not saying it’s bots, but…

giving examples of what it’s used for doesn’t make it any better that you’re forced to install software on your personal device by your government for simply existing and is an invasion of privacy.
in my country my government wanted to use facial recognition for online transactions that were previously accessible via government IDs. it was found that the facial recognition software was provided by a corporate identity provider that was then selling that same data to local police that then tracked people through local government surveillance.
when it comes to technology, I have zero faith in every government in the world to have my best interests in mind. they are all guilty of either being complicit in eroding civil rights or negligent in upholding the protections built for civil liberties.

Shawn Gorman, a lawyer who worked at Axon until 2019, said the company had a high-pressure culture of loyalty, unlike anything he has seen in nearly two decades of practice.
“It was truly toxic,” he said.

a tornado once broke into my house and raped my cat. this is why when I see one of those sumbitches I shoot at it.
the only good tornado is a dead tornado.
sounds legit.
