It stands for autistic with ADHD. I guess AuADHD doesn’t roll off the tongue quite as well.

Unpopular Opinion@lemmy.world•No sport played and watched by millions of people is inheritantly boring. All of them can be entertaining if you choose to understand them.English
31·2 months agoWow, you are trying really hard to spin this. My outrage and past sports related trauma? That’s a rhetorical question, I don’t need to know where you pulled that from. Neither of those things exist. Good luck in your future endeavors not being able to accept that other people don’t enjoy the same things as you.

3·2 months agoWhy are you assuming that I’ve gone through life like that? I was raised watching and playing sports.
It doesn’t “bother” me, it’s simply incorrect to think that the only reason 100% of people don’t like sports is because they haven’t tried hard enough.
Do you tell gay people that they just haven’t tried hard enough to like women?
Do you tell asexual people that they just haven’t tried hard enough to like sex?
I can’t imagine going through life being so arrogant as to think you’ve had the definitive life experience.

I’ve learned a little more about why people think that if we non fans just tried harder we’d magically start liking sports. I’ve also heard some some good arguments I can use when people inevitably try to convince my to like their sport IRL.
I understand Puerto Rico and Hawaii, but how is America illegally occupying Korea? When I look it up, it shows that it ended in 1948.

If we stopped mandating ethanol, which uses fertilizer heavy corn, it might help ease the shock of fuel and fertilizer shortages.

Almonds are still better than animal products, in terms of resource efficiency. But I prefer oat and soy milks over almond anyway.
