YOU should talk about it, it’s your thing, but the party shouldn’t, because it isn’t even close to being the highest priority for most Americans. Not because it isn’t important, but based on the number of people it directly affects, it’s fairly low on the priority scale, and therefore not likely to attract many votes on its own. Therefore, it shouldn’t be at the front of the party’s campaign messaging.

OTOH, it WILL attract MAGA votes, so why should we indulge their bigotry, and help them get their votes, and hurt us, when we can spend the time on subjects that attract votes to our side, and demoralize them and repress their votes?

The first rule of politics is Get Elected, so we have to pursue that objective, over making sure every single person’s pet issue gets attention. Those people will have to hope that they are voting for the side that is most likely to serve their interests.

They have been standing against it, and it is quite clear that the Dems support it. End of story. Stop talking about it.

The ONLY response to any attempt to draw someone into a trans debate is this:

ICE: They will kill us, they are already doing it.

Taxing Sociopathic Oligarchs and their Corporations: They will pay their fair share of taxes, or we’ll just take it all.

Student Loan Reform: Sure, just saddle your most productive young citizens with a lifetime of debt as soon as the graduate from college. That won’t ever affect the entire economy in a few years, when they can’t afford ANYTHING.

The reaction of the average MAGA.

That isn’t the natural order of the universe, some immutable law, like Gravity.

Families of millionaires like to live like millionaires, with lots of places to shop, eat, be entertained, and spend their money. They want to do that in a place that has all that stuff, but is also safe. NYC was starting to feel less safe again under the last few mayors. Apparently, the Sociopathic Oligarchs feel differently about Mamdani’s NYC.

The issue in NYC was that many of them live there full-time, but they declare a property in Florida or Texas or some other American tax haven as their primary residence, and beat NY and NYC out of their income taxes. So Mamdani has figured out a way to squeeze money out of these deadbeat financial hoarders anyway.

I suspect a lot of these “new” millionaire residents are just the same people who have shifted their primary residences to NYC because their accountants did the calculations, and it’s cheaper to pay the state and city income taxes, which can be manipulated, than the pied-a-terre tax.

I add whatever leftovers I have, especially meat. The pickings from a rotisserie chicken, an extra pork chop (diced), etc. Then add carrots, celery, etc., soy sauce, swirl in an egg, and a spoon of gojuchang paste, and it’s delicious. I make it about once a week.

Gojujang is my favorite, but skip the bottles. Get the good stuff that comes in little tubs. You can get them on Amazon, but my Publix recently started carrying it.

MAGA is classic Cult of Personality, and there is no #2. They’re all Narcissists, so they all fancy themselves the heir apparent, but the followers will make the ultimate decision, and the moment Trump dies, so does most MAGA support. They love TRUMP, not just some political kiss-ass, or some offspring with the Trump name. Don Jr, or any of them, will be as popular as Frank Sinatra, Jr.

When Trump croaks, the knives will come out, and the backstabbing will begin.

Frankly, the more likely outcome of the MAGA crash will be that the Trump family will pivot to religion, and deify Trump, which is why they all have to go to jail, before embarking on their next family grift.

The real answer is “the barrel of a gun.”
