Stacey Williams says the ex-president, whose spokesperson denied the allegations, touched her in an unwanted sexual way in 1993, after Epstein introduced them.

Wish they’d interviewed her months ago.

All the MAGgots are going to question the “timing“ of this.

But at least early voting wouldn’t have started and maybe they could have shaved off a few people who have now already voted for Trump.

Edit: Sorry. Reading back, this was more callous than I meant it to sound. I was just speaking in the abstract and did not make that at all clear. She has the right to come forward whenever she feels ready. Or never if she never felt ready.

Maybe look back harder yet, damn. It’s obvious you’re 100% ready to cheer the political effects of this insofar as they’re convenient for your side. If it’s not obvious to you, or you think it’s some fluke utterance that doesn’t actually reflect your position on this, I encourage you to look harder and how and whether you’re willing to use victim advocacy as cover for your politics.

You might look at literally every other comment I have made in this thread where I have said that it’s up to her to come forward and politics are irrelevant.

Or my edit to this post where I said that I was speaking in the abstract and not specifically about her.

If you want to get mad at people, there are people literally berating her in this thread.

I mean there’s someone slightly below my comment saying the timing is suspicious. You didn’t bother replying to that comment despite them not saying they were speaking in the abstract.

            One wonders why.

It won’t make a different for those dickheads, they’ve already made it clear they’re more than comfortable supporting a rapist.

Hopefully a few of the more sane ones will take this on board though.

Epstein likes to tell people that he’s a loner, a man who’s never touched alcohol or drugs, and one whose nightlife is far from energetic. And yet if you talk to Donald Trump, a different Epstein emerges. “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” Trump booms from a speakerphone. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

Evangelists…it’s what God wanted. God wanted Trump to rape you so as to bring pleasure to an otherwise depressed and sad person. Luckily you can along as a usable thing for him to feel better. Anyway, this is great. He will need some more of you next Wednesday at 7pm so be available. Hey Man! Amen! And so is the word of the book of Trump and his trumpets.

Well, uh, the bible isn’t really that opposed to rape. You just have to pay the family of the woman the bride price. As long as you’ve got the money, it’s all good.

And no, that’s not a joke. An unmarried man that rapes an unmarried woman has essentially committed a civil infraction under the book of the law. OTOH, a woman that commits adultery should be stoned to death, and a man that rapes a married woman is also put to death. Because according to the bible, women are property.

The other looks good for chores around the house, she’s from the married isle” …“just remember, thou shalt not hump from the married isle!”…“understoodeth!”

People don’t have to come out about their sexual assault on your or anyone else’s schedule.

It’s something a lot of victims find very, very difficult to talk about.

Also, suggesting that the DNC somehow was forcing her to not tell her story since 2016 is just irrational.

They seem to think she should have somehow been forced to tell her story when other people thought she was ready to.

And she told the story really slowly over time. Even before this most recent reveal, she made remarks on a podcast not too long ago where she basically said it was him without saying his name. Before that, she dropped hints here and there over the years that she was sexually assaulted by someone famous when she was modeling.

That sounds to me like someone trying to come to terms with trauma. It also sounds like some other sexual assault victims I have known. Talking about the fact that assault happened first, then coming to terms with the fact that they said something that difficult out loud. Then maybe they tell a few people they’re close to. Eventually, sometimes after years, they feel ready to point the finger. And a lot of times long after the statute of limitations to prosecute such things is up. Trauma is not an easy thing to overcome. Sometimes you never overcome it. Sometimes it’s too traumatic to ever overcome it.

You’re a model in 1993. In order brush elbows with the elite, make connections and continue finding work you are given an invite by your modelling agency. You attend because this can only be good for your career.

      You get sexually harrassed.

You didn’t ask for this. You’re trying to make a living. Titans of the industry see you as a bag of meat to toss around and abuse.

      “You were asking for it.”

You apparently can’t win if you’re a woman around such men. If you come forward when a powerful man sexually assaults you right away, you’re gold-digging and he uses his high-paid lawyers to shut you down.

If you come forward when a powerful man sexually assaults you later when he can’t do that, why did you wait so long?!?!

She was dating Epstein at the time. Poor judgement on her part, but it wasn’t a long relationship, so maybe she got the fuck out of there as soon as possible.

Doesn’t excuse Trump fondlibg her, obviously with Epstein’s approval, and maybe at his invitation.

Horrible people. Good for her speaking out.

        Yeah,

A woman at a party hoping to bag a dying rich husband retains the right not to be groped/assaulted or raped.

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if the modeling industry as a whole was proved to be a sex abuse conspiracy from the get go. Like create this image in the media of beautiful women becoming glamorous successful models that marry dying billionaires, tell them that they have to network at fancy parties where the industry moguls are, convince them to ingratiate themselves to the moguls however they can…

The more I think about it the more I think a lot of the vitriol comes from them being jealous that they can’t just “shake their tits” and have to instead brown nose people.

In my experience that’s exactly it. They’re the same kinds of people who also say “You know, if I was an attractive young girl I would love to make money staying home and showing my tits on the internet for money.” But when confronted with the reality of it all they would rather demean people who actually do that and make more money than them.

The fact is a lot of them are threatened by women who make more money than them while also feeling like those women owe them something for being attractive. Like I said, these people do “shake their tits for the rich.” In one way or the other. It’s only that the people who are actually shaking their tits are the honest ones while the bootlickers cry for the boot to stomp down harder.

      Typical victim blaming behaviour.

This is a shitty take, and you should feel bad.

“My clothes are not my consent”

“My looks are not my consent”

“My age is not my consent”
